This company was established in 1997 with the legal form of a society in order to adapt to the new times.With less than fifty years of history, this company is however the commercial mirror of its founders’ large experience, which comes directly from a time where the pitmen (prospectors) used to have a healthy life at the countryside, in inhospitable and unsuspected places, and to be surprised with the rare possibility of the great emotion from a discovery.

 

PIEDRAS MARAGATAS S.L. (Ltd) is a company of the Spanish county of Leon. Nowadays, we cooperate with quarries from the region of the Maragatos, which is located between the Roman City of Astorga and the Teleno Mountains.

We also direct our enlargement at new ornamental stones and/or minerales and also at new activities on this region.
